It is very helpful to have multiple USB dc-supply ports on it, including USB-C. The cost was relatively high, but probably worth it.

The type c port charges at 30W which is great for most smartphones out in the wild now; it has more watts than an iphone charger so any with an iphone is better off connecting the cable directly to the surge protector type c port.

I ordered a similar one different brand on Amazon and had to return it 3 times because the USB-c port didn’t work on all of them. The unit from Best Buy is much better.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wish it were slightly wider, having the outlets so close together means I cannot have more than my two L shape power bricks connected at the same time as they overlap the other ports slightly, an extra inch between would have done this justice, but i only need those two ports as i can charge my other devices with the onboard usb ports so 4/5 from me. Great product all in all.
