    Does not work well with MacOS, and I can't get the usb C input to charge an iPad reliably. Works as expected with Windows.

    Decent USB hub

    When I plugged it into my computer, I got a notification saying "USB device not recognized" and to plug it in again. I did that, but the notification kept coming up. I can still use the hub with my headphones and keyboard, but the notification still comes up from time to time.

    the one i got one port was bad. took it back and waiting for a new one, as with all hardware this is always a posability, hope the new one works better

    Buyer beware - this device is inexpensive because it does not come with a cable or power supply if you need to provide power to devices. I do, and it cost me twice as much as the hub itself to get a USB-C cable and power supply. If charging is a requirement, unless you have an extra USB-C cable and power supply, this is a poor value.

    Not practical to use. You must insert the USB in a certain angle. I would return it if I had not destroyed the packing.

    This product does not come with everything needed to make it work. Little did I know when I purchased this I would have to buy add-ons to use it. This needs a 5v usb cable to make it usable and that cable is not supplied. Useless without a 20 mile run to the store. Sending it back. Next these companies will implement a subscription service to use the simplist of products.

    Does not work with modern Macs

    This hub is decent enough if you're using a PC. However, it does not work on modern versions of macOS. I confirmed this with Insignia support. Officially it supports only up to macOS 10.12, which came out in 2016 (!!), and I could not get it to work on macOS 13.0. I tried a USB-C to USB-A cable and a USB-C cable with an adapter, and none of these worked with my MBP. Frankly I'm shocked that they sell this as Mac-compatible.

    Always defaults to host 2

    Always defaults to host 2 when I don't even have the host 2 cable plugged in. So every time I turn my computer on I have to hit the host switch button to use the this thing.

    Suddenly failed and created a surge overload to the USB port. If your mother board does not have surge protection this thing can create damage. It also doe not come with a power brick while not a big deal it is still annoying.

    Works exactly like you'd expect, decent transfer speeds, switches devices at the push of a button. Audio however is an issue all on it's own. I would not recommend this for using a headset or mic with multiple computers. There is audio interference both on output and input every couple seconds (scrat. Minor annoyance, but incredibly distracting if you need a clean audio performance.
