Great addition for my laptop

I use one for a wireless mouse and one for a portable hard drive backup. Every time I wanted to transfer files to/from a thumb drive, I would need to unplug the usb backup drive. With this usb hub, I can always leave my portable drive plugged in and still have 3 ports available for other uses.

I have not connected any high performance devices through the hub, but the various USB devices I've used have all functioned reliably.
