    Bought this to increase my USB ports from only 1 when I needed to use a Smart Card reader, "leashed" mouse, and USB headphones for work -- and it worked beautifully. Only problem since the initial purchase is that sometimes it doesn't connect the card reader fully but other than that it's great!

    What I like about this hub is that it doesn’t need to be plugged into the power strip also, which can be hard if you’re on your laptop and the plug is far away.

    Considering that the Mac mini comes with only two USB ports, this is an extremely convenient product. It utilizes one USB port to get you four USB ports. Since I don't like wifi keyboards and mouses, I find myself using all 5 ports.
