I like using a mouse instead of the pad and when I plug in the mouse I didn't have any additional USB ports. It left no place to plug in a flashdrive. This solved m problem.

I’ve used it with an external drive, an SD card reader, and several USB thumb drives. All worked well. This is the first time I bought an open box product. I’m glad I did to save a few dollars since the price seems high for such a simple product.
