Only negative so far is i have to face it towards the back of the computer or use it upside down due to the location of my usb port. Not a big problem, especially for the price.

Works well, transfer speeds are decent. Keep in mind if you are using high bandwidth periphs, this is not an externally powered unit.

I didn't need a powered hub since I'm not runnng any large devices that draw huge power. The only gripe is that it has a Prop 65 Cancer and Reproductive Waring. And in this day and age with all our regulatory safeties being turned off and products being cheaply mass produced and brought in from god-knows-where, we can't know if the toxins are insignificant or a major source of contamination. Can't we just make a product that doesn't have some crap in it?

It works great and im happy with buying thus.
