Great Little Adaptor

This addressed the issue of having fewer USB ports on my new HP laptop vs. an older one. Works exactly as I had hoped it would. I didn't check the dimensions before ordering but was pleasantly surprised by the adaptor's small size.

It is a helpful "gadget" that enables me to have more USB ports for the various things I want to plug into my computer. I was looking for workability at a good price and this exceeds my expectations. I am a regular purchaser of the Insignia brand. I urge anyone and everyone to chose them over the rainforest people.

May be unreliable. Needs adequate host USB power.

This failure may have been made worse by the fact that this hub is not powered. The total power available over the 4 ports is at most what the host computer can supply. This may not be enough even for one device, if it is a demanding one like an external SSD, nor for more than one device, even if all have a low power requirement.
