This has almost everything I need and probably has everything most people need, for me the only thing that I could want more out of it an RJ45 jack; but it would either have to be larger or the RJ45 jack would be one of those ones with a moving part that is more likely to break; so I can understand why it was left off as also most people don’t need it. Now to why it’s everything I want for a majority of my work. The cord is fabric and well built, it feels like it can take a little bit of a beating, in fact the whole build is like that, the body is solid and I’m not afraid to just throw it in the bag. I love that it has power throughput (though it is power input only, it didn’t work for data for me) If you have USB C only and need to use it to plug into a docking station at work that has an old USB A connection, this works great for that as well. If fact that is the number one reason why I love it, I have an ergo mouse work bought me that is only wireless with a dongle and I need to plug into as well as a docking station, this solves the problem of me forgetting the mouse dongle as it just lives on this adapter now. Then at home I plug into my large monitor. Overall, it is solidly built while being thin and works perfectly all the time, I can’t ask for much more than that.

So just as i was always told but did not listen to my own advice what you read and what you get can be two different things. I don't think the manufacture did it intentionally, but how its worded on the box is a little confusing. But don't get me wrong the product is made very well with almost like a metal casing. So if you drop it you can rest assured it's not going to break. So back to the issue at hand. On the box it says 4-port USB-C HUB so in my mind i think i'm getting a hub with a type C inlet and 4 type-C outlets. But in actuality what you get is one type -C cable to hook to your laptop a USB-C input for charging things, two USB 3.0 5 Gbps to hook like printers to or other items you need for either a USB power or to hook to you laptop. Lastly it comes with a 4K 60Hz to hook an external monitor to your laptop. So in the end if your needing a setup for your laptop that gives you more expandability this will definitely fit the bill but if your thinking like me your getting 4 Type-C Outlets think again.

I use the HDMI port with a full HD (1080 resolution) monitor and it works well without lag or stuttering.                                                       This device is well-made, it has a metal case and a braided USB cable to connect to your computer. Overall a good thing to have.                

It is small and flat and works great. I recommend it to a friend and she liked it too.
