I resent needing this USB-C hub, but modern laptops only seem to furnish USB-C, so if you're still working with an old USB-A device, you're out of luck without something like this. That said, it's HEAVY. A simple adapter might be better if all you need to plug in is a single device.

Just as great as the other high end brands out there! Haven't had any problems thus far and would recommend to anyone.

I found this Insignia hub to be an excellent, affordable solution for expanding my laptop's single USB-C port, providing reliable connectivity and a compact, sturdy aluminum build that travels easily. My main complaint, however, is that users frequently report the hub gets quite hot during extended use and that the cable attached to the hub is extremely short, limiting placement flexibility on my desk.

I upgraded my 2015 era MacBook to a 2023 version. Naturally it doesn’t have a HDMI connection for external monitors and none of my legacy USB thumb drives, external hard drives, keyboards and pointing devices, phone chargers, etc. I will gradually transition from the legacy connections right after I move my VHS player out of my man cave :). Until then, this little hub is doing it nicely.

Very useful gadget, works really well. It comes in handy and makes my work easier and tidy.

Great connectivity and no latency issues. It is on the smaller side for usb hubs but is still a little bulky for my liking but thats a bit nitpicky.

Worked great for why I purchased, it was to be able to use my larger keyboard on my Apple computer.

Great docking station at a good price. This had just the right number of ports for my use. I connected a monitor, speakers, mouse and laptop to it for a more convenient setup at my desk. I also liked the size of it as it takes up little space.

Very compact size and has everything you need in a dock.

Product worked as advertised. Very easy to use. I highly recommend it.

Perfect interface between airbook andthe memory card

My husband and I were clueless about the 15-day return/exchange policy on most items (we thought it was 30 days), so when we approached the counter we didn't question whether or not we could return this item. To his credit, the customer service agent who handled the transaction didn't let it phase him, or even question us much. He just asked why we needed to return it, and we told him that the device wasn't compatible, as we previously thought. And we wanted to pick up another couple of items, so it was technically an exchange... but still, we were already outside of the 15-day window by 2 days. So, the agent called his co-worker over and they were both examining the receipt... my husband and I kind of exchanged questioning glances. Finally, the co-worker nodded his head and keyed in some info so that the agent we first approached could proceed with the exchange. Then the agent looks at us and calmly tells us that we're technically outside of the 15-day window, but that they're going to allow it, anyway. I was impressed because both of the guys didn't add any extra "energy" to the situation... they calmly assessed and moved forward, keeping things "light" and efficient. In a world where people seem to want to overcomplicate things, or don't know how to handle exchanges that could become "awkward" or uncomfortable, it was nice to see and be on the receiving end of such great service. We thanked both of the guys for their kindness, because they didn't have to allow the transaction, per policy. But I guess they did it because there wasn't any BS from our side, either, maybe. In any case, it was cool and we appreciated it. I wish I'd made a note of their names, but I know that can be figured out by referencing the order. Great Job! Thanks!!! :)

One thing that irritates me (for lack of a better word) is that Macs dont have a spot for an HDMI or USB cable. My partner bought the apple version but it only lets you put one of each in. I love that i have two USB spots so i can put a charger and for my phone and my calculator charger for school, or whatever else i may need!

So far doing everything that we wanted it for Quality with reasonable price point will most likely be buying another one
