Worked like a charm (plug-n-play) on both my work HP/Windows laptop as well as my home 14" MacBook Pro. Which means it is BETTER than a docking station (that fits only one of the two) because both laptops have a USB-C port.

A GREAT addition to my vehicle.

Had open the lid, unplug the dock and plug it back in to detect the monitor. I also had external power going to it. Got another Belkin and things work well again.
