New laptops do not come with enough USB plugs. I needed one for my mouse, one for external hard drive and that left none for any flash drives or additional needs. I tired quickly of constantly unplugging one thing to plug in another. The USB Hub is the perfect answer. My space is congested. My only dislike is that the cord is a bit long for my needs and the device doesn’t sit as flat as I would prefer. It does solve my problem though. Thanks Geek Squad for the recommendation, I didn’t even know there was such a thing!

When we travel, I wanted to put a few files I wanted to work on while we were away on a flash drive and use her computer. Unfortunately, there was no connector on the Apple that would accept my flashdrive. The handy little Insignia device was just what the doctor ordered. Works great!

I'm glad I listed and made the purchase. It allows me to work on financial work on my MacBook which is awesome because I avoided Apple products because the laptop didn't offer a ten key. Problem solved! The item was easy to install and it didn't frustrate me. HA. Highly recommend.

'it just worked' is a compliment. Disclaimer: I got 25 best buy points as a result of writing this review. I very rarely write reviews so this was an incentive, but I think it's worth pointing out that this 'just works' and some USB-C 'gadgets' are not all that great.
