My laptop only has one USB A port and two thunderbolt 4 ports. I need at least three flash drives plugged in most times, so this has come in handy instead of digging out my entire USB C hub.

The person at Best Buy helped me find the one that best fit my computer. It works just right and gives enough USB slots to do all the work that I want.

A USB to USB-c hub that does the job.

It connects via a USB-c plug to my new MacBook Air, which has no standard USB ports. To use my webcam, usb drives and other devices this is necessary — no love for Apple here. This hub is not made to provide power to devices that might need it, like an external drive, but there are other hubs that can for about $10 more. The price of this unit is comparable to others I’ve seen. My only issue is that the USB ports are snug. That is, my devices like USB drives have to be positioned just right to connect.

Was happy that best buy in canada also carried it. I didn’t even bother to return it after my trip because this thing works flawlessly. Have never had a single issue using this. Will leave one in my work bag and one at home.

For those of us who still believe in analog media and refuse to "save to the cloud" (eye roll), this will allow connection of older devices to newer hardware, making your fancy new laptop a little more useful.

Worked perfect with my current external hard drive that I also use with my lap top. Worked with other USB devices too so I am able to use on my tablet. This 4 port is light weight and portable.
