It converts one USB-C port into four good old-fashioned, high-speed USB ports. The piece itself is sturdy and actually fairly sleek, looking better in person than it does online. My new desktop has a couple USB-C ports, and I don't use them for anything, but I'm already making use of one of them now!

I have limited standard USB ports on my Samsung computer and needed to hook my old printer up to my new laptop. No probs at all using the USB-C Hub for the printer. Printer is happy and I can keep the standard USBs for dongles and other accessories.

Sturdy Upgrade

That one the C connector to the computer disintegrated when I moved the laptop with it still plugged in. This unit is far sturdier. has been working wonderfully. I am very glad I purchased this replacement.

I now have 4 Ports for the standard USB slots and helps me use my mouse and other USB Flash Drives very effectively.
