    Very good at connecting multiple devices through 1 usd-c port. It lowered download and upload speed if you connect a usb through it but so does any other multi usb extender.

    A while back I purchased a small HP Laptop. What I gained by getting a smaller computer cost me in the availability of USB plug slots. Computer came with only two USB slots. This item turned one of them into four available slots. At times, I use several thumb drives. Works fine without any issues. It can be easily unplugged when extra slots are not necessary.

    As the Mac only has two ports on the back and I need more, this was the ideal way to go. "The only draw back I know of is that it won't let the computer recognize my disc reader which has a USB plug in on it.
