The MacBook Air "lacks" in the ports department, but this makes it a lot easier when you need multiple devices all at once, or just to plug into for a quick charge on AirPods or other devices.

I dropped my laptop and jammed a usb into the port, it was no longer useable, leaving me with only 1!. This absolutely saved me. Only dislike a is that it’s a decent size with a cord, so it flops around and sometimes falls out when moving my laptop off a surface.

I’ve had no trouble with it at all, tight connecting ports, same height as the laptop, all is good!
