    Works for what I need it to offering 4 extra USB ports. Unfortunately it takes the place of my USBtypeC and does not offer at least one type c port.

    A great little hub but beware, it will not power an external hard drive. Turns out an external hard drive needs a powered hub (or direct attachment to laptop?).
