However, as a forever Mac user, the new AirBook's ports do not accommodate the old USB ports so one is forced to purchase the product in order to use existing devices. Bad design, or is it simply to force consumers to spend extra on indispensable hardware? Makes computer unnecessarily cumbersome and sloppy looking.

The USB port is too tight and sometimes I feel like I am going to break the port or the wire.
