    I purchased this cable because I lost the cable it came with inside my Seagate Ultra Touch Hard Drive. This cable has done its job. Will warn for portable it's not the smallest cable, just a heads up.

    bought this to replace one I got online with a external adata drive that was loose and only 8 inches long this cable was also loose on the usb 2.0 plug side also, checked another in the store and it was the same. I know what your saying but no the computer plug is new and other cables fit tight like they should, must be a bad batch

    My external HD cord had quit working, so went to Best Buy to find replacement. The employee was very prompt & knowledgeable in helping me with my problem. I use this for my work & was at a great loss with out it. I am very pleased with the replacement & also the knowledge of the staff had to assist me with this matter.
