    This cord works great for devices other than phones. It works for multiple external hard drives too including: the Toshiba Canvio Connect II as well as the WD Passport. We have both of these devices and it works wonders.

    The cord that came with my Toshiba drive was only inches long, and recently cracked. I was looking for a duplicate, but the one I bought was even better. The rubber on it seems more supple, and it's quite a bit longer.
