The USB 3.1 cable that came with my enclosure was for connecting with USB-C Type. This replacement did the trick! I love it and the price was decent.

It was a frustrating process since I don't consider myself to be computer savvy. Fortunately, my nephew was able to help by long-distance phone. Once I understood the process I became more comfortable using it.

Initially, I was going to buy a micro USB C charger for my phone until I came across this cable. It fits perfectly into the charging port and charges my phone at the same rate. The only difference is how flexible the cables are. Great product!

I went to every store I could think of to find one and couldn't find one anywhere until the girl at the AT&T store told me to try Best Buy and sure enough I found one there. Thanks Best Buy! Glad I can count on you.

It's a good replacement for my old Samsung Galaxy S5, but it's not a universal charger, so it works for only the S5 phones. If you want a charger that will work for the S5 and for other phones with micro USB connectors, you will need to purchase a micro USB charger.

A Sufficient Replacement For The Original

I didn't price any cords, but ordered this Insignia brand because the price was not high and it's a trusted company. There's not more to add, it works well.

I am thankful that the tech I asked helped from knew that if I were to get this one for my Samsung Galaxy s5, that it would take less time to charge my phone than were I to go with the Micro USB one.
