    I purchased this cable for the length and to have as an extra charging cable. I took it on a trip and plugged it into a USB power cord and it did not work to charge any of my items, phone or tablet. I checked to see if it was properly plugged in and connected and it was. Based on this I would not recommend this cable.

    I needed one of these cables for an external hard drive. Was having trouble finding one in panama city florida. But best buy had one in stock. Only bad thing is hard drive didnt work so bought the cable for nothing
