Basically it's a backup cord for my Samsung Galaxy S5 to connect to a USB port like a computer or monitor or similar charging device if I lose or don't have the electrical plug part, since the Galaxy has that weird end connector that not a lot of other phones have.

Cord replacement works great

Great cable, works as well as higher priced ones

It has a heavy cable and is coated with a thicker plastic than most. It offers the high speed extra pins for faster charging and syncing and transferring data. My Samsung cord bit the dust 18 months after purchasing the phone. This was the best alternative I have found.
