    I went into Best Buy looking for a new cord for my external hard drive. I had left it plugged in to my computer for too long and the cord had quit working. The employees were very helpful and were able to help direct me to buying this cord. It isn't specifically for external hard drives but it works great! I have had no problems since replacing the cord.
