We've used it in a variety of settings; phone to charger, phone to USB for in-car charging and use, phone to battery charger. Has a good fit and provides the length needed so you're not stuck next to the outlet so to speak.

It is very heavy, not for small people. When it gets twisted it's hard to use but when you have it nice and flat it works great! Would HIGHLY recommend for someone who wants an at-home, heavy duty charger, that will last a lifetime.

However, my experience with these cords, even if the box says they’re made for Apple products, is that the phone stops recognizing them after a period of time. This one is new though, so it remains to be seen how long it lasts.

We really didn't need the 10 feet, but that's what my son came home with. They are actually pretty useful in the house, but 10 feet is too long for the car.

It is great for our bar and theater area. When we have people over it is nice for them to be able to recharge their phones in a area that doesn't have pull in in center of room.

At this point in my life, spending twice to get a fruit logo seems silly when i can get pretty close to the same thing without the fancy logo!
