But both wires lost its charge after a couple months of use. This is no better than all the junk off brand Chinese wires I buy from amazon. I thought by buying charging cables from BestBuy I'd avoid the issue of junk wires. I'll continue looking else where to find one that doesn't stop charging after a few uses.

I really do apologize for the inconvenience that you've experience since you mentioned that you did purchase this item perfectly working but unfortunately after a couple of months that it has been used both wires lost its charge and also we appreciate your feedback. A fine quality USB-C cable should last you a good 3 to 5 years. Short-length cables do much better in this regard than long cables. If you don't use the cable every day and take good care of it, then a USB-C cable can even last you for more than 5 years.
