Insignia is a great brand and good quality products and way cheaper than the apple cables for sure

Maybe it is normal wear and tear after 1 year, but I wish Insignia would try to improve the durability or better flexibility of the coating. Another reason is was on-sale, so by the time it breaks, my mom would probably have a new phone with a Type-C to Type-A/C charging USB cable.
