Like four times the thickness of a regular charging cord. Sort of heavy. Maybe not the best for travel if you are trying to pack light. I'm using it for my iPhone 11 Pro and wanted something long that I could use at home on the couch and in bed. I had no idea it was so thick when I bought it. Gorgeous silver/white color, though. Seems to charge pretty fast. LOL! When I pulled it out of my bag the other day my friend said if we ever go to to the country and get stuck, we'd be able to use it to pull our car out of a ditch or lasso something. It looks that strong. She did say it was pretty though.

I have it as a backup to another one I bought with this one, which is 6' long. That one does what I want it to do. I'll use this one when the 6' cord isn't long enough or it no longer does what I need it to do... hopefully it won't come to that anytime soon!!
