Maybe it is normal wear and tear after 1 year, but I wish Insignia would try to improve the durability or better flexibility of the coating. Another reason is was on-sale, so by the time it breaks, my mom would probably have a new phone with a Type-C to Type-A/C charging USB cable.

I’ve used other brands and my iPhone wouldn’t allow it to charge. We purchased two and I’m glad we did. Cord is thick but yet I’m still able to use my phone while it charges.

This is a very sturdy long cord which allows me to position my devices, especially my I pad in any place I want rather than trying to move myself to be close to a plug. The only downside is if I really need to charge from low power it takes a little longer than the Apple cord that came with my I pad but this is a very minor issue of a few minutes.

It doesn’t feel cheap either it feels pretty high quality better than most braided cords out there! For its price and quality I say it’s very worth it!
