I understand this situation was not ideal for you. However, this is a USB Type-C cable for charging and data transfer. This unit certainly works wonders proving to be cost-effective. However, it does not approach the data transfer speeds of a Thunderbolt 3 cable. We appreciate your understanding on this specific situation.

Many newer phones will not charge properly or quickly with old style cables. I would like to see this in a shorter 2" length to keep from having the excess cable interfering when connecting an External SSD drive to your laptop. I recommend this style to assist in charging and transferring data at higher speeds.
