Customers commend the 4' USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Cable with Braided Jacket for its generous length, durability, and affordable price. Many appreciate its reliable performance and the sturdy braided design. However, some users note that the data transfer speed may not be optimal for all devices and charging speeds may be slower than expected. The cable is well-suited for everyday charging needs.

Better than expected for time. that it remained in
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's been a year since I bought this cable, and I would comment on it. However, it was Pilfered at a care center where I use the product. That and many other knickknacks as well as my first fraud in over two decades Nevertheless, I have bought more insignia products and found that their brand name is affordably priced but yet not priced at Chinese levels Also produces a better product than the Chinese level products that are typically disposable but ridiculously cheap Weather made in China or other locations, at least some quality control does seem to be present in insignia products, even better than their competition. I would hazard to guess that it's A store brand possibly backed by Best Buy, since Best Buy does have good quality control better than many of its competitors. My insignia case for three and a quarter and two and a quarter external hard drives demonstrated this over another company which boasts to be American made and high quality And yet, the insignia was competitively priced And the high quality item was expensive

Well made cable. No need to pay more.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good low cost braided USB-C to USB-C cable. Well made and works perfectly, making sure you take full advantage of the newer higher wattage USB charging blocks. The cable is rated for up to a 60 watt block and also gives you a 480 mbps. transfer capability. You can feel the quality right out of the box. The cable is braided and comes with a rubber strip to keep the cable folded neatly in your bag until needed. The plugs have a rubber tip at the ends which should minimize any chances of the plug weakening with constant plugging and unplugging of your equipment. Also, a note on the box indicates the cable should withstand up to fifteen thousand bends. Granted I did not sit there and test it by bending it fifteen thousand times, but I believe it to be true, lol. The bottom line here is there's absolutely no need to spend more for a charging cable. This Best Buy Insignia brand cable will work as well as any more expensive brand name cable you can buy. You might as well keep that money in your own pocket.

Does what its supposed to!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used and abused this cable now for almost 10 days. Its absolutely perfect for what its supposed to achieve. - Its easy to untangle, the best part is unlike some other braided cables I've had which have a velcro type organizer to loop the cable, and the velcro over time rips out shreds from the braided cable. This one, has a plastic loop for organizing the cable, so no more shredded cables - Its long enough that it meets all my requirements - I have been able to use it with my phone and laptop - Its been able to handle a 65W charger without issue, and I was able to use super fast charge my phone as well. -I have been able to use it for data transfers as well, without any issues or any unwanted disconnects. There is nothing more infuriating than a lose connection on the ports causing intermittent disconnects. The cable itself seems really high quality and should last a really long time. Overall, there is nothing to complain about here, and I would definitely purchase more if these if needed.

Works great with my iPhone 15 Pro.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took this to the office to use to charge my iPhone at work, so I wasn’t taking my home cable back and forth. This works exactly the same as the Apple branded cable, and also looks a little nicer. The braiding gives it a premium look and feel. It’s not just for iPhones, either! You can use it to charge PS5 controllers, a Steamdeck or Asus Rog Ally, some wireless headphones, wireless cameras, and more. USB-c is the new standard for charging and data transmission, so it’s a good idea to have a few of these cables lying around. I know with reviews people expect the positive and negatives of a product mentioned, but this really doesn’t have any negatives. It’s the perfect length for 90% of applications, color fits almost every decor, and the build quality is durable yet flexible. This cable feels like it has several years of use ahead of it. Highly recommend going out and grabbing a few of these. Keep one in your glovebox in your car, take one for the office, and it makes a versatile stocking stuffer.

Works great, delivers as promised
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't really find anything wrong with this USB-C cable. I'm not techie enough to have the tools or the know-how to actually measure file transfer speeds and other factors, but this cable works just as it is supposed to as far as I can tell. The build quality is nice and braided cables are all the rage now. The connectors on both ends are firm and tight when plugged into corresponding USB-C ports - I don't detect any give or wiggle and the sleeves surrounding the connectors don't seem to be too big or thick to the point that they wouldn't fit snugly into the female end of a USB-C port. The price seems to be right for these cables as well - definitely more economical than other name brands where it's anybody's guess whether the extra you're paying is actually getting you more bang for the buck or just getting you the name brand. All in all, whether you're out shopping for a new cable or just impulse buying a cable (esp. considering the price) I don't think you can go wrong with this brand.

Durable and perfect length
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best cable you can get for your device if you want aesthetics and you need length. Even if you don’t it is great. It fast charges my phone with ease. I love the durable feel and quality the cable has. The braided cable added to the great looks this cable has. And will look great with any desk setup. I go through cables like water and it doesn’t help that USB C cables are expensive. But the cable feels very durable to the point that I am going to be saving money getting this cable. The length is perfect for my charging needs while I am on the couch. I don’t have a fancy couch so I need all the extra length I can get to reach me on the couch from the wall plug. It also eliminates the need for an ugly extension cord that I used to have going across my living room. This is the perfect cable for your home charging needs watch you need it for a computer component on you aesthetic desk setup or you are laying/sitting on the couch and needing a charge. This cable is the one for you!

Good high quality charging cable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Insignia branded USB Type C cable is an excellent choice for those looking for a high quality charging cable. The 10 ft one provides plenty of range so you don't have to be tethered by the wall. With charging speeds up to 60 watts and USB-IF certified it just means most of your devices will charge at their fastest speeds possible. You can even charge some laptops like MacBook Air or Chromebooks. The braided design is not only there for looks, but it's also there for durability. Another thing I like about this cables is the slim connectors, it allows them to connect to your mobile devices that have a case on. It also comes with this handy rubber cable to keep it nicely tied when not in use. This cable is only meant for charging, so if you're thinking of using it to do some file transfers this won't be it. You will be better off with another cable that can support faster transfer speeds, but if you are looking for good fast charge cable the Insignia cable is an excellent choice to consider.

Must have for a new iPhone 15!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can I say about the Insignia 7' USB-C to C Charge and Sync cable that you can't easily get just from reading the name of the thing? Well, for one thing, you might think that because it is from Insignia and not Apple that it would not work as well with your iPhone, and you would be wrong. Insignia is at least doing you the favor of giving you all the specs for this cable and it maxes out the capacity of the iPhone 15 non Pro editions perfectly. If you have a Pro model the charge capability is still great but you won't get as much data as you could theoretically handle. As for build quality, the Insignia cable also beats Apple. While they both have braided covers for their cables, the Insignia cable has a much sturdier casement for the plugs themselves and superior strain-relief. Given how hard some people treat their cables and such, this cable will last you FAR longer than the Apple cable and at a lower price. For me, this is going straight into my new car to serve as the CarPlay/Charge cable and the length is perfect to go from the lower center console to my phone dock which is on the far left-hand side of my dashboard. The only thing that would make me happier about this cable would be if they made it in black because it is going to look grimy real soon. Don't pay the Apple tax for new cables, give the Insignia version a go and save some cash.

Great Cable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The cable is well-constructed with a sturdy design. The connectors fit snugly into USB-C ports, ensuring a secure connection. The cable itself is flexible yet durable, capable of withstanding daily use without signs of wear and tear. The 4-foot length strikes a perfect balance between convenience and flexibility. It's long enough to use comfortably while charging your device in bed or at a desk, but it doesn't create a tangled mess. This length is suitable for various situations. This cable is highly versatile. It's compatible with a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and even some accessories like headphones or power banks, as long as they have USB-C ports. This universality makes it a valuable addition to your tech accessories. The cable supports fast charging, allowing your devices to charge quickly when used with compatible chargers and devices. While it may not be the absolute fastest on the market, it performs admirably for most users' needs. In addition to charging, the cable supports data transfer at high speeds. It's great for moving files between your USB-C devices, such as transferring photos from your smartphone to your laptop or vice versa. The cable is an excellent choice for users in search of an affordable, reliable, and versatile charging and data transfer solution. It ticks the boxes for compatibility, charging speed, and build quality while maintaining a budget-friendly price point. Whether you need an extra cable for your office, car, or home, this cable is a dependable choice that won't break the bank.

USB C cable works with iPhone
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an iPhone 15 Pro owner I needed to replace all of my lightning cables with USB C cables that worked. I had a few USB C cables laying around but they wouldn't charge my iPhone. I had 6 different cables from various brands and they would not work. They weren't up to the specifications needed by the iPhone 15 pro to function as a charge cable. I used the Insignia USB C cable with the same power source and I had no issues at all. This is how I confirmed the issue was with the cables and not the power source. This cable is protected by a nicely braided sleeve and there is enough length for me to plug it into the outlet and use it most anywhere around my productivity space. Now, for the times I do not need so much cable, there is a cable management tie attached/included which I have used to keep things neat and orderly. What I can say is that the cable works with my iPhone 15 pro and provides everything I need in a charge/data cable. The cable length is much longer than what is available from able, and it is of the same quality as what is provided by apple. So why spend more if you can get a better product for less?

Durable 10' USB-C cable with a nice cord wrap
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been mentoring with the local robotics group and the cable included with their kit is a short 12" cable. For the most part, this is OK, but every once in a while, you get a kid that isn't paying attention and initializes the robot for movement without disconnecting the cable and they end up yanking their computer off the table or possibly ruining their USB port. I've purchased cheap charging cables in the past, but I was looking for one that would charge and sync for this robotics group and I am glad I came across the Insignia 10' USB-C cable. Having a 10' cable means the kids don't need to keep their laptop right next to the robot to push their code updates. It also means that they can run the robot a little bit while still tethered to the PC for quick validation tests. The cable itself has a fine braid and feels durable. For my purposes, I like the white color because it offers high visibility among the many colored wires on the robot. The cable is rated for 60w and 480 Mbps. It allowed me to charge my phone rapidly and I didn't notice any problems transferring my programs from my laptop to the robot. I really like that it comes with a long silicone strap to wrap around the wound cord. I didn't realize how badly I needed a cord wrap until I got it and it makes perfect sense to wield 10 feet of cord that could easily get tangled in my computer bag. If I need any more USB-C to USB-C cables, I'm definitely getting more of these Insignia cables.

Fast To Charge and Transfer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It seems most devices are now using a USB-C port for charging, connecting, etc. This will come in very handy for anyone having the old cables. This cable is four feet long, braided and seems very flexible. It can charge up to 60w at once, which is really good. It seems to be well made and built to last a very long time. I have used this with a lightning-fast wall charger adapter and it charged very quickly. I have charged cell phones and tablets with ease. I tried it out transferring data from my devices to my desk computer, also a laptop, and it worked just as quickly transferring them. The box states that it can transfer up to 480 Mbps and, in my opinion, it really does as it says and transferred quite a few pictures. Once again the cable was extremely fast considering what I was transferring. I have a mouse that has a USB-C port to charge and I connected this to my laptop. I had no problems with the mouse being recognized on the laptop. One of my smaller laptops that I use with the mouse does not have any USB-A ports and only two USB-C ports and this was really needed for it. I highly recommend getting this particular cable. I found it to be extremely useful with the newer devices that I will be using this with. This particular cable, being only four feet, works with so many things I have without being too short or too long. This is just the right size for the many things requiring a USB-C port.

Good Quality Cable with a Surprise Feature!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Insignia USC-C to USB-C Change-and-Sync Cable with Braided Cable is a wonderful cable that comes and works as designed. The cable is a 7-ft (actually 7ft - 1.75 inches) braided USB-C to USB-C cable that does everything this cable says it will do. The cable provides up to 60 Watts of Power Delivery and up to 480 Mbps of data transfer speed (your milage her varies greatly). The cable has a sturdy construction and quality connectors. A surprised feature is the robust rubber cable strap. This allows one to secure and store the cable in various lengths and configurations and not have the total length be in ones way. I find that 7-foot cables are a "Goldilocks length" for cables of this type so that it can reach a decent distance without having too much waste while also being long enough to work for most use cases. There is noting more annoying than needing a few more inches of cable and not having it or having too much cable and it getting in the way. A nice thing about this being a white cable is that it is highly visible, making it easy to find when it might get wrapped up in the bedcovers or other places. Another benefit of this cable is the dual USB-C ends - as more an more devices come equipped with USB-C ports having dual ended USC-C cables gets more important. Overall this is an excellent cable and comes highly recommended.

Nice cord for powering a laptop
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really nice basic cable that really hits a lot of needs for a backup charging cable. First, the length is enough that you can charge it in most scenarios without feeling like you have to set your device in a weird spot to be close enough to whatever charging port you are using. Second, the cable itself is a tougher woven material. It will for sure stand up to a little bit of abuse, which I need. I've had more than one cable accidentally get caught in closing door or drawer of the desk I'm using the cable on. Those cheap plastic or rubber coatings tear really easily and can cause the cable to just not work right. This one should stand up to quite a bit more abuse. It also is rated at 60W. That makes it good enough to charge most of my devices and even a few laptops through their USB-C port. Not all cables can do this and you could be out of luck if you try to charge a computer with a lesser cable. Its not a 100W so some of the highest draw devices may still have issues, but I feel like this will satisfy my needs for 90% of the uses I could imagine having for it right now. This is a great option for anyone who tried a cheap cable they already had gotten included from some random device that seems to not be able to charge their laptops or tablets.

No frills charger
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Insignia™ 7' USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Cable with Braided Jacket in white is a prime example of a no-nonsense, high-quality product. It delivers precisely what it promises without any frills or fuss. The advertised data transfer rate of 480 Mbps is spot on. It performs reliably and efficiently, ensuring that my files move seamlessly between devices. The braided jacket is a thoughtful addition. Not only does it provide an extra layer of durability, but it also adds a touch of premium quality to the cable. I appreciate the attention to detail in the design. Furthermore, the 7-foot length offers a welcome degree of flexibility. It provides ample room to connect devices without being overly cumbersome or restrictive. In terms of compatibility, this cable has proven to be versatile. It effortlessly connects my USB-C devices, allowing for smooth charging and syncing. Works as well as the original from my tablet
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how this has an attached snap that you can wrap the plug with for traveling or keeping it out the way along with other plugs. That is a nice convenience that’s it built in. I like the braided cable when it’s an option because I find it to be more durable and flexible so I hope this will last for a while. I don’t typically use the USB-C to USB-C but now have so many items with USB-C, I figured it’s worth it. We have been using it for the tablet and phones and it’s working very well. I haven’t yet noticed a difference between this one and the one that came with the tablet. I have also used it with my laptop, not to charge the laptop but to transfer info from my phone into the laptop and it worked much quicker than the previous brand I used. That makes me very hopeful that this will continue to work well. This cable is 7 feet long and seems to be just the right size whether I use it while working or take it the car. I’m really starting to like the Isignia brand so far that items I’ve used. I had some bad luck with plugs in the past and am so careful that brand I use. I rather pay a little extra for better quality. And from what I see, this is good quality for a fair cost.

High-quality charge-and-sync USB-C cable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Insignia – 10 foot USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Cable with Braided Jacket is a great, lengthy charge-and-sync cable that does its job very well. I really like the fact that this cable is 10 feet long yet there seems to be no reduction in its performance. Having a longer cable like this is very convenient for when I am charging my phone but still need to have it within reach to use as needed while it is still plugged in. I am able to plug it in to charge next to my bed but grab my phone and use it while still lying in bed without having to unplug it. The other thing I really like about this cable is the braided jacket. It just feels so much more sturdy than non-braided cables and I have no doubt that this particular cable will last a very long time. The ultra-slim connectors are also very nice since they allow me to plug it in to my phone without it interfering with the case that is on my phone. My phone charges very fast with this cable and when using it for syncing purposes, it works just as well. Overall, the Insignia – 10 foot USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Cable with Braided Jacket is a great charge-and-sync cable and I highly recommend it!

A sturdy, fast-charging cable up for the adventure
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's face it: USB-C cables are a dime a dozen... but they're not, really, and one tiny screwup can mean the difference between a relaxing evening at home with your fully-charged device or an emergency trip to Best Buy. One errant drop or spill or bump and the darn things are broken, frayed, or less than fully functional. As someone who burns through USB-C cables regularly, I absolutely, positively have to have a cable that will not let me down when I need a device charged or to connect an accessory. Insignia's 10' USB-C to USB-C cable has a fantastic canvas-style coating on the outside with a sturdy cable-to-connector neck (no flimsy rubber or abrupt edges here), built-in cable management (although you can't take the cable wrap entirely off), and a super-thick coating that is both flexible enough to wrap but not too flimsy that if you accidentally stepped on it or vacuumed it or had roaming bands of toddlers chewing on it that it would give up without a fight. Because of all of the above, I'm going to start replacing all of my kiddo's USB-C cords with these, and if the USB-to-lightning cords are anything like these, especially the 10' versions, I'm all in.

A Sturdy Cable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using this USB-C to USB-C cable for about a week and have only good things to say about it. It is well made with a braided cable sheath that feels sturdy and durable. I've bought a lot of cheap cables in the past that have only lasted days or even hours so this one has made it a week and because of the quality hoping it lasts as long as the OEM cables. With the USB-C becoming the standard for almost all devices, including phones and laptops, this cable should come in handy for years to come. In fact, my son needed it today because he lost his cables again. He was also impressed with the quality and said it felt sturdy and worked well for his phone. A few other thoughts on this cable is that it is offered in various sizes but 4 feet seems about the perfect length to be plugged in to a wall and still reach to your desk or nightstand, without leaving much clutter. Also, if there is clutter or extra cord, this cable comes with a little rubber cord wrap that allows you to either wrap up the cord when not using or to reduce the amount of clutter when using the cord. Overall, I am happy with the cable and would recommend it.
