I do like that they gave you 10 feet of cable and not just 3 feet.

This was the connection recommended. When I got home and tried it, the device perfectly connected the two pieces of equipment. It has been functioning very well as a connector except when the devices are moved more than 4 ft apart. I then notice that one of the ends of the connector becomes disconnected and the interchange of information is no longer possible. However, once noticed, this glitch is easily remedied and once again the two pieces of equipment can again talk to each other. I have been able to successfully avoid this problem by tying a piece of heavy string (exactly 3 ft and 9 in long) to both pieces of equipment and the USB connection remains unbroken. With this modification I give this connector a resounding rating of 5.

I tried these cables and I did notice a difference. If you don't normally see or hear a difference in electronics you might not notice the difference. I think it was worth getting these cables.

This one plugged perfectly into my power strip with USB ports and I can charge my phone with ease. The cord has a nice length to it, but I keep the excess folded up and tied, because I don't need it to be very long where I have it plugged in. Highly recommend it.
