I use this cable is primarily to transfer photos and data from the smartphone to other devices. Use it to download those photos to keep them safe should something happen to the phone. It's long enough to be used with the USB port on the HD TV's to view your videos and photos from a nearby comfy chair.

I recently bought a new phone; a Samsung S9 Plus. This phone requires the latest USB cable/ connection for charging and data transfer. While I am pleased with the way the cable works and the fact that I don't have to figure out which way the cord inserts into the phone, I find the price for these cord accessories to be (in my opinion) on the expensive side of "fair value." In order to replace the cords in the various places I typically use them, it cost over $100 for five cords. To me, this seems excessive.

This was the right charger. The separate wall charger block and the separate cable cord were $2.00 cheaper than purchasing both together. A deal at Best Buy when you shop around and compare prices for the same items, and think differently how to purchase the.!

I had no idea there even was a USB-Type C until I bought my Samsung S8 and saw that the mini-USB cable wouldn't fit. Some cables, especially the ones that come bundled with a charger, only have the charging wires, but not the data wires. This cable works to both recharge the phone and transfer information.

I needed to replace the cable to charge my phone. The one that came with the phone no longer worked and it hasn't been a year yet. Once we figured out the problem, I purchased the Best Buy brand cable. It works better than the one that came with my phone. And it is longer! Great purchase!!

There is not much I can say about a cord and charger. It fits and charges my phone as advertised. The cord might be a little longer than my last cord, so that is a good thing. I have had no issues with it during its 4 months of use. Perhaps a cheaper one would work just as well.

Boy do these cables come in handy! I am always looking for when mine goes "missing" and need to charge my laptop, phone or my tablet. I wish I had known about them sooner so that I could have bought extras for all my friends who borrow mine.

I bought an external charger for all my devices. None of my cables would fit into the device and I didn't know why. I went to Best Buy in Palmdale and they explained to me what ends A to C charger was. It works perfectly and being a senior citizen, I learned something new.

I was wanting a rapid charger to use in my car with a new phone. I already had the USB ports, so this worked great with the c style connector needed. Yet again best buy saves the day, I had it ordered, paid for and picked up curbside in minutes.

Seems like a sturdy cable with appropriate strain relief. The USB-A end (the bigger end, plugging to a PC or charger) is oriented to have the word "Insignia" facing up and the USB symbol facing down. I would think the USB symbol would e on top. The USB-C end will plug in either orientation.

My son needed a charger cord for his phone, after breaking his last one, and he told me specifically to get this cord. He had used it before and it lasted a long time. He's very rough on cords, so I would more then be happy to buy this cord again when it finally wears out.

When I received my Galaxy S8, the cord accessory was 4' long. I wanted longer cords to stretch from the wall outlet to my chair in the rooms I use, I didn't want to move the cord every time I would leave. So I purchased these 6' cords. The length of the cord is perfect.

Review a cord? C'mon...its a charger cord. Ok, I will say this. You need a longer cord for those times you have to plug it into the outlet behind your easy chair and use it at the same time without having to contort yourself like you otherwise would with the short cord that comes with your phone.

I needed a charging cable for my Galaxy Note 8 for the car. This cable is nice and short (but I still put a rubber band around it to keep it small and neat). It works well. I can travel and stay in contact with the phone or use it for directions without having the phone run out of power.

During an emergency stop to Best Buy, due to the original phone charger no longer working, I purchased this item. So far...so good! I am able to plug it in the wall and move anywhere on my bed using it while it's still plugged in because of how long it is.

Coming from a Note 4 to a Note 9 I had everything I needed except the cable for my car charger since they changed from Micro USB on the Note 4 to USB C on the Note 9. I needed a shorter cable to be able to charge my Note 9 in my truck while traveling. This cable does the job and my only complaint is the cable is a bit thicker than I would like for a car charger making it a bit stiffer. Other than that works great.

This device works as advertised and does the job at a fair price point.

Our best Buy sales person suggested this cable when I noticed that the charging cable for the Google Pixel 2 XL were different from our old phones. We have dual charges from our old phones and it was nice to be able to reuse them with the new phones and this cable made that possible.

My daughter is always buying cheap $5.00 cords and they last about 1 week before the base starts to bend and pull apart....I told her to invest in a slightly better cord and save her money. Well, she is sold on this cord...durable and worth every cent.
