Don't really understand the reason for the constant changes to the phone plugs but this cable does the trick for hooking up my Samsung Galaxy S8 to a charger.

This USB type c charger cord does exactly what it suppose to do. It helps Samsung charging brick to fast charge my device. I would buy again.

Discord was great however after time it started breaking down and tearing where it plugs in to the phone. The wire is not very strong I would try to find a different material for your wire if you want your charger to last a while

With the cord that comes with the pixel not having a type A usb, this cord is a good substitute especially for use in the car with a type A port.

Since my new phone came with a standard wall charger, I keep this cable as a spare in my car to either use in my two port USB charger or I can bring it with me places because not many people have upgraded to newer phones with UBC-C connections.

Wish these longer cords were standard with the chargers without having to purchase. The cords are always to short!!!
