This is perfect if you are needing a longer cord. I use this on m night stand to charge my phone. I can still use the phone while its charging and Im laying in bed. Its perfect for my needs.

I needed a slightly longer cable for my external hard drive than the one it came with. This is long enough to meet my needs and has no connectivity issues.

I prefer to have a cord to charge my phone in multiple places, as I use it all to often. This cord is longer than my others and it great for using the phone while it's still plugged up.

I wouldn't buy any other size cord for home use. It's nice because I can extend it all the way across my love seat while I watch TV and don't feel confined to one spot when charging.
