Easy to navigate and set up. Wish I had bought the bigger one for my living room instead of Samsung

The experience I had at this Best Buy location has completely changed how I view this company and how they handle defective products sold to loyal customers. I purchased an Insignia TV and later realized the remote was defective and wouldn’t work. After confirming through online reviews that this is a known issue, I contacted customer support via chat and was told I could return to the store with just the remote for a replacement and that I did not need to bring the TV. When I went to the store today, I was given completely different information. I was told I needed to either purchase a new remote or bring in the TV. After trying to resolve the issue, I even offered to return the TV altogether due to the conflicting information from both chat support and the employees in the Home Theater department. I then drove home, brought the TV back as instructed by the employee, but was then told I could no longer receive a refund or replacement because I was outside of the 15-day return window. I was following the guidance I had been given by customer support and the employees in the Home Theater department. What made this experience worse was how I was treated. Jeff was the employee I was directed to when I asked to speak to a manager. He was extremely unkind, dismissive, and condescending. As a customer, I felt disrespected and that my concerns were not taken seriously. At one point, he stated that “if I had been nicer, maybe they would have helped,” which was both inappropriate and unprofessional, especially since I had been following the instructions given to me by your employees and the company. Even when I had a witness present trying to further calmly explain the situation, we were both dismissed and told that a store credit could be offered or that he could plug in the TV to test the remote—an unreasonable suggestion, considering we had already gone through the trouble of bringing the entire TV into the store just to resolve a defective remote issue. Once we requested a refund due to his inappropriate conduct, he then waved over the actual manager, Digna, who also refused to assist and redirected me to the manufacturer instead of helping resolve an issue with a defective product sold in their store. I left with the TV they told me to bring in, no resolution after being given conflicting information, and feeling hurt and confused when all I needed was a new remote control for the defective TV that was sold to me. After being a long-time customer, this experience has caused me to lose trust in Best Buy. I strongly encourage store leadership to review camera footage of this interaction and address how customers are spoken to and treated. Best Buy customer service was not helpful either, and after several calls, I’m left with no resolution. I had to make this review due to the unprofessional way I was treated by several Best Buy employees
