This 40In Insigna TV is nice for size and price. It is light weight and hangs on wall mount nicely. Just got it hooked up. So far good picture and plenty good on the sound. Well worth it.

Lightweight and easy to use! Set up was easy! Reminder you need an account to use Alexa voice, its free to create. Sound quality is okay, we placed this tv in the backyard, connected to Bluetooth Sound Bar.

This was a price based purchase, but I must admit that the easy setup and good crisp picture were the big bonus. The size (40”) fit the location in our master bedroom just right. Delivery to my house was an added bonus that allowed me to order from home. I would recommend this Insignia brand tv to anyone looking for a budget priced unit.

The tv is easy to set up. It connected to the internet quickly and was able to download the applications necessary to stream the shows I want. Pick up was great with ordering ahead, and customer service was wonderful. We have multiple Insignia tvs in our home and they have been great!

Good size for a standard bedroom. Easy to install. Accepts a good number of plugs. It's 1080p. Got it for a black Friday deal. Easy to navigate . It uses a number of streaming service. Easy to setup, though you need patience to go up and down finding the right letters. If you want good sound recommend a sound bar. Delivered correctly for once. I recommend it.

I was pleasntly surprised at the picture quality of this set once I turned off all of the automatic adjustments and set the picture correctly for each input. It looks really nice and even has natural looking dark blacks instead of the greys I've seen on other TVs. Sound quality is way above average too. This has nice sound by default plus it has bass and treble controls. By contrast, my 55 inch Sony X75 series has terrible sound and no way to adjust it. There is one little quirk with the sound. This set lacks the ability to leave headphones plugged in and still use the TV speakers, as my last set had and also a similar Insignia set had a couple years ago which I bought for my brother. I really need this option as it's a bedroom TV and sometimes I need headphones (I love watching ASMR before bed) and other times I need to be able to hear through the speakers without needing to get up and unplug and re-plug in the headphones. I solved that problem with a cheap soundbar, also from Insignia, which keeps sound independent of the headphone jack. This added another small inconvenience though. The feet included with the TV for tabletop use are not high enough to have the soundbar underneath the TV, nor in front of it without blocking a bit of the screen. The cheapest soundbar is too high and the next step up looks to be short enough but is too wide to fit between the feet. So I had to put the soundbar behind the TV. I can hear it fine though and the remote for the soundbar still works for it. I really like the Fire TV smart platform. It seems to respond fast and I found a lot of really good free channels, especially in the Prime Video section, which are otherwise somewhat hidden in standard Prime apps and the desktop version. I would strongly recommend this TV based on what I've seen and heard in about two weeks of use. The price really can't be beat as well.

This TV is awesome and just what I wanted, especially for $80. I have an old Insignia from 15 years ago and it is still working just fine. However, my LG went blank after about 8 years, so I replaced it with the Insignia because I know it will last. The quality is great, the setup was easy. It's a nice bright screen and the sound is good.

This budget 40″ Full HD Fire TV delivers surprisingly solid picture quality and easy Fire TV streaming with Alexa voice control right out of the box. Setup is quick, and it’s perfect for bedrooms or casual viewing. Just note the basic 1080p panel and occasional slow interface — great value for the price.

It was time to upgrade our bedroom TV and this Insignia 40" worked out great. Setup was easy and the added bonus of it being a Smart Fire TV is great since were already used to using a Firestick. We had to adjust the color to our preference, but that was easy. The price being under $100 was definitely a plus. This was an all around great buy for us!

The tv has a good picture. We don’t use cable or satellite only antenna and on certain channels the tv blackouts for a few seconds when a car goes by. The volume isn’t very audible have to turn it up quite high to hear it. But overall we are very happy with the tv.

This TV was an impulse buy but it was so worth it. Easy setup, took less than 20 minutes to download and login to apps. TV is very responsive to the remote controller and the picture plays with clarity. Recommend to anyone…this review is six weeks after purchase. Best Buy delivered within 3 hours of ordering

Great quality picture. Super easy to set up. Love that everything is built in, just a power cord and connect to your WiFi and Amazon account. Only dislike is the two separate table stands, it would fit better on top a dresser or smaller area with a center stand.

What I don't like: The picture when using my antenna for local broadcasts is not good. It lacks vibrant color while the streamed content color seems to be fine. The remote is without a keypad so, instead of entering the channel number I have to scroll through all the channels to get where I want. What I do like: The wifi connectivity has performed almost flawlessly. It has had to buffer a few times and I reckon the manufacturer cheaped out on installing adequate memory. The TV is just OK for what I spent for it ($89.99+tax) and good enough for our kitchen TV. If you are buying a TV for your main use I would not recommend this TV. If I had it to do over again I would probably spend more $$$ for a better antenna driven picture.

Love it! Extremely easy to setup especially for age challenged. Roku was no problem to use as main input. Added sound bar for better sound. Could use optic or analog connection. Great picture quality!
