MANY NEW COMPUTERS COME WITH ONLY A 200 TO 250 WATT POWER SUPPLY AND THIS ONE IS RATED AT 400 WATTS SO IT WILL RUN COOLER AND BE MORE RELIABLE THAN A LOWER POWERED UNIT. REPLACEMENT IS VERY EASY TO DO. VERY SATISFIED.
