    USB-C port—as advertised. Not much to it. It accepts the newer, smaller male charging cords of Apple IPads. In stock. Reasonable price. Fits into cigarette lighter in vehicle. A lot of plastic on this component compared to 100% metal for plain USB chargers of the past so less expensive.

    We needed a charger for road trips and this one was a perfect buy. I love the Insignia brand lol. We have the tvs, air fryer, chest freezer this car charger and many other items! They are so reliable with their products.

    This charger is great so far! The 40-watt charge beats any regular car lighter/charger and keeps my phone AND my iPad going as long as necessary. I read somewhere that regular car chargers/USB connections can actually drain your phone, that's why I went to Best Buy to find a higher wattage charger! Glad I did.

    I recently went on a road trip with my Samsung Fold 4 phone. The standard USB outlet in my 2015 Tacoma could not supply enough power to keep my phone charged while using GPS. Luckily my truck also has cigarette lighter ports as well and this charger does keep my phone charged. Just perfect for what i needed it for.
