    If you're going to buy an Insignia TV, but above 42". I have had a 55" Insignia Fire TV for a year and half now and love it and works perfect. We bought a 42" for our bedroom 7 months ago and the screen went out. They claim to have a 1 year warranty but had to wait 9 days for the earliest appt at Best buy for them to tell me that I would have to pay $80 to Insignia to ship it to them just to diagnose it. That's just about 75% of what I spent on it and of course it takes a couple weeks to diagnose. If your TV is 42 in or under, you have to bring it into the store. As well as apparently the smaller and cheaper the TV the cheaper the components inside so getting this brand 42 in or under is not worth it.

    Bought this TV and within one year a horizontal and vertical line appeared. Called the 1 year manufacturer’s warranty line and within minutes they told me they would replace the tv or I could get the credit amount I paid for the tv so I could buy another of my choice. Fantastic customer service.

    Its a overall good tv, however my power button does not work and the sound randomly doesnt work and I have to unplug and plug it back in

    Very basic television. You get what you pay for here. It does the nuts and bolts for you. The picture quality is very basic and the built-in media player has trouble with the aspect ration of smart phone videos. You'll need to buy a different media player app to get the videos to work.
