HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR DEFECTIVE TV

I bought it on Dec 30th. His birthday wasn't until Jan 23, so we kept it in the box until then. He opened it today and there is a large dent in the back and when you turn it on there's a white line that runs horizontally across the entire front of the TV. Best Buy refuses to exchange it. After receiving horrible customer service from them, they told me to call Insignia as the TV would be covered under warranty. I was unsuccessful with Insignia too - they kept wanting me to troubleshoot. How do you troubleshoot a large dent? They would not come for a service call because they said I'm out of area. DUH. I live nowhere near a Best Buy, hence why I bought this online. Basically, I paid money for a brand new TV that I have to throw in the trash.

It is under warranty, so dropped off at Best Buy 3 weeks ago. I do not recommend doing this, as they have no status update except "in transit" 3 weeks later... haven't had any luck tracking down a human to speak to about it.
