Uses massive amount of data when powered off
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV about 7 months and ago and for some reason it started to pull massive amounts of data when not even being used. I contacted Insignia and after sending them some information (no troubleshooting) they told me to go into the settings and disable the network....Well that completely defeats the purpose of buying a smart TV. As I have an allotment of 500GB per month and the TV used roughly100 GB per day and I did not catch it until my internet company emailed me a warning of almost going over my limit, I cannot leave the TV connected to the internet. I am very disappointed in Insignia's customer support and will be avoiding their products going forward. I have checked online message boards and it seems this is an issue for more people out there. Other than that the TV is good, just wish I could use it.
