Many other SMART TVs play them well. This tv refused to even recognize any of my the thumb drives. It failed to take my pc output on a HDMI cable. It seems mostly geared for wireless connection to Amazon. Voice commands go thru Alexa, after you put in your credit card information. I can see kids getting curious about rented movies, and racking huge bills on that credit card. The features on this tv are things i do not want. The features that I expected, do not work. It does not find your password protected wireless router easily. You have to enter the router name, in order to find it. The only thin I can say positive about this tv is that, It does have an excellent picture from cable & dvr feed. After hours of trying things, my conclusion is, stay away from any INSIGNIA smart tvs.
