Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the 43" Class F30 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV's picture quality, ease of setup, price, and smart TV capabilities. They appreciate the great picture and sound quality, easy setup process, affordability, and convenience of the smart TV platform. However, some customers have concerns about the remote control's compatibility and basic functionality, as well as the TV's durability, short lifespan, and occasional screen issues.

I was in need of a new TV and this on has worked well. Only thing i don't like is that it sometimes takes longer to power on with the tv remote than my Roku remote.

    Insignia strikes again, ugh!

Well, since this Insignia did the EXACT same thing as another we bought months ago, I'm just gonna paste the review from that one word for word: After unboxing, hooking up, and going through the pain of updates and other settings, THEN I discover that the optical audio output didn't work (and yes, this was confirmed w/other cables, hooking up soundbar to other TV, etc). Had to reset to factory, box it up, and waste an hour round-trip drive back to Best Buy to return it and get something else.

It constantly disconnected from the internet as soon as the return window was closed. Every other appliance using wifi is consistently connected except this TV. Makes it hard to watch a show as it freezes and I have to go disconnect wifi/reconnect on the TV.

Good price but picture quality is not the best. I put it on my lanai so it fits the purpose. Not even close to my big screen Samsung that is in our living room.

Cannot make as many adjustments as you can on a tv without the fire add on,,seems to be a simplified menu for settings, would have rethought the purchase if i would have known

Bought the TV for Gamming at 4K it was a great value but had to return it because it didn't play my games at 4K, had to cough up an extra 100 dollars to get what I wanted.

The TV functions exceptionally but the chemical smell being emitted by this tv is horrific! bad! I almost sent it back but the performance of the tv made me keep it.

No Peacock TV app. Not a huge fan of the Fire Amazon/Alexa based tv. Slow response time and never returns to the input I left it on. Always returns to the fire tv.

Terrible experience with this Tv. Input on controller is bad, sometimes won't even register. Had apps freeze on me while scrolling, Including TV. Have to clear cache on most frequently used apps. Had no sound coming out of it more than twice. Man if I could give this a no star I would. So buggy just in general, worst purchase so far.

Save yourself the hassle and do not buy this piece of garbage. It makes the most annoying hum while it's on, and then after 15 months (just out of warranty) will no longer turn on at all. It only has one button with no hard reset and the only advice is to unplug it and plug it back in (which doesn't work). It's just not worth it.

It's fine, but if you're the type to be annoyed by buggy smart TV software, ads all the time or slow menus you may want to spend more for a TV with a more powerful / better operating system. This often has glitches forcing me to restart, or even unplug it from the wall. Occasionally even a factory reset... It's maddening. Price is great, but at what cost!!! ;)

Terrible image quality for gaming. Very weak hdri. Requires filters to get the highest brightness. Cannot increase brightness setting on tv without washing everything out. Cranking the contast is the only way to get it brighter and then it looses a lot of detail. I've tried adjusting the setting on the TV and consoles for years now and I still cant get a good image out of this thing. Also the frequent amazon required updates are annoying and force you to stop playing. Here are the best setting I found best for ps5: Backlight 100, contrast 60, brightness 2, color 0, tint 0, sharpnesss 0, go into white balance and crank all 3 colors to max, mid luminance -3, dynamic backlight off,hdr tone mapping on, local contast enhancement high, deband off, super res off, skin control off, dynamic noise off. .... I know these settings sound crazy but its the best I could get it.
