    I’m annoyed by this TV! I have a TiVo which connects to the tv through HDMI. I set the TiVo remote to work with my this tv. It will change the volume, mute and turn the tv on and off BUT after a few minutes of being off you need the tv’s remote to turn it back on. This is incredibly annoying. Now for the huge problem. Every time I turn on the tv I have to set it to connect to the HDMI input. I don’t like this! I have never owned a tv that you needed to set the input every time you turn it on. The last problem with this tv is that quite frequently when I am watching YouTube through my TiVo the screen on this frustrating tv will go black. I have to then go back in and tell it to connect to HDMI again! What a pain. This tv is the worst consumer electronic that I have ever owned in my 53 year life.

    I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET A USER MANUAL FOR INSIGNIA NS43DF710NA21 TV. CALLED INSIGNIA AND THEY SAID TO GO ONLINE BEST BUY AND IT IS LOCATED THERE. CAN'T FIND IT ONLINE AND TRIED TO USE YOU CHAT HELP AND THAT WAS ABSOULUTLEY USELESS AS ITHAS BEEN EVERY TIME I HAVE TRIED TO USE IT.

    If you like white noise this is the TV for you. Upon plugging in the TV and turning it on, I immediately noticed a strange and annoying buzzing sound coming from the TV, when the screen is off it’s silent. I immediately returned it because I know the buzzing would drive me bonkers.

    No Comcast support or output sound ports

    Two huge disappointments: (1) not compatible with Xfinity/Comcast, so forced to use roku to use comast; and (2) no output sound port, so my external headphones have to be hooked up through the headphone jack which is in the back, and it's inconvenient to go back/forth between headphones and no headphones.

    The tv rating is good but I was promised an echo and they didn’t have any in stock so I had to wait. I wasn’t notified if it’s arrival and they cancelled my echo order and refused to give me another. Wasn’t happy about that. But the tv is good

    Didn’t get a chance to experience the open box 4K smart tv I bought because it was shipped with no remote, and replacement remotes won’t pair with new tv’s. Why ship a tv without a remote?

    I bought this tv August 2021. Has worked great until this morning when I turned it on 12-31-22. Black screen but can hear the sound. After researching the problem I see it happens alot and is expensive ($100-$200) to repair. I paid $310.00 for the tv. So looks like I will be buying another tv but it won't be from Best Buy. Their customer service told me if I didn't have a plan ($200/year) they couldn't do anything. I'm told by Insignia I would have to take the tv apart and have it repaired. That would be more than the tv even cost. Will not recommend this tv.

    Well, had read the reviews (good & bad) on many different TV's in the 42" size range to replace a TV that had worked for years. We typically NEVER purchase an extended warranty, but it seemed prudent for this purchase as literally EVERY TV had some or many reports of early failure amongst the reviews. So, added the 5yr Geek Squad warranty onto the purchase. GLAD WE DID! Less than 1 month after we purchased on 2/22/21, the TV went to nothing but vertical dancing stripes of varying color on 3/21/21. Never had a TV fail previously until years after purchase. Now, into the abyss we go to get repaired/replaced under the 1 yr manufacturer warranty (not Geek Squad, I believe)...not looking forward to THAT!

    After about a week, the product began to make a very loud buzzing sound. The only way it could be fixed is if the back-lit and/or brightness was turned the whole way down, but then you could not see the picture. This happened TWICE with the same model.

    I’ve owned this TV for 6 months and it has an annoying glitch. I’ve called both Best Buy and Insignia. They were not very helpful. With the TV powered off, emergency alerts will randomly go off on the TV. It’s located in my bedroom and wakes me up. I’ve read on message boards that others are having the same issue with their Fire TV and no remedy given. I normally have to keep it unplugged until I’m ready to watch it. I would like to return and get a refund. But Best Buy return period is 45 days or less. Insignia just told me to reset the TV to factory settings. Please don’t buy this piece of junk. Once you discover the glitches, you’ll be stuck with it.

    Tv turns on and off by itself, googled it and many people have the same issue but nobody has answers. Sometimes just the voice comes on. Try this, try that, but no remedy. Would not recommend

    Well, this is actually a great TV except for one problem. VUDU. I have purchaed over 200 VUDU titles, half of them are 4k. This TV only okays VUDU in HD.
