We could not get the Firestick to work....and the second day we had the TV it would not even turn on. Upon returning it we were told that it was not us but that Amazon had a problem with the Firestick and none of these TV’s were working. What I don’t understand is....if Best Buy knew ahead of time that these TV’s were not working....why did they sell me one???

Don’t waste your time or money. Had the tv less then a year and the volume will randomly stop working after the holidays vs been on for about 30 minutes, The options menu will not come up unless you unplug the tv and plug it back it which is super annoying being that is how you turn on the sleep timer. The picture quality is okay for the price. Very disappointed that the tv is less then a year old and having these issues.

This TV required to have an Amazon account and wants to force people to use Alexa and wireless. The LAN cable only worked on the first setup. After that, the TV offers a LAN configuration which asks for completely unnecessary parameters (it should just auto-connect like the other 4 VIZIO TV I have in my house. Instead configuring the LAN is impossible. I don't like to be forced to use WiFi, Amazon or Alexa. After 20 minutes of PS4 playing where the PS4 is connected to LAN, the TV stops recognizing the PS4 until the PS4 is restarted. I am returning the TV.

Dont buy Insignia…horrible product. Got the 50” version of this tv and is dead after only 1 year (just scraping past the 12 month warranty mark) - LED display is dead, Tv wont even turn on suddenly…no help or assistance from Best Buy or Insignia customer service & Geek Squad says $99 to come out to say there is a problem + Undetermined amount for parts and labor to fix - which would make it as much or more than we paid for it possibly, so not worth trying. Save the $$ and get a better brand.

Had the tv for just about 6 months and I’m so frustrated. Tv has to be unplugged constantly to get apps to work. The remote kills batteries in less than a week. Was recommended to use Amazon brand batteries to solve this issue and it was just as bad as using Duracell. Only a 90 day warranty so nothing could be done. Customer service was so unhelpful.

Tv was hard to set up even though there were two Techs putting it together. Sidney and Tyler were two great Techs . Not enough good things can be said about them! Trouble started about 4 hours after using it. There was a defect in tv. Had to return and replaced with a non smart tv. Randy was great in getting everything straightened out at the Burlington NC store. He has exceptional customer service skills plus a great attitude!

This review is for the packaging and supposedly Geek Squad certification. But this tv and didn’t get a power cord. So I called and they said we make mistakes . Right but supposedly that’s what Geek Squad does? Make sure everything in included right? Of course they didn’t have an answer except for come to the store and will get you one. How about you mail me the cord? Don’t know how the TV works as this was bought for my daughter in college.

      Hi Unidenr7,

Thank you very much for taking the time to review our 43" Fire TV model. I am sorry to read the power cord for this TV was not included in the box. However, based on your description, I think this product maybe was purchased as an open box item, this meaning the TV was already used and after that use Geek Squad certified that it works properly, but if some of the parts were not included, this is not covered under warranty.

If this is not case and you got this TV as a new item and not as an open box item, please follow the Contact Us link at the bottom of this response, we will assist with your warranty support needs and we will check for further options in this matter for you.

Completely useless tv. Won’t allow you to install more than a few apps because not enough storage then 1 year later tells me there is not enough storage to work and I cannot delete anymore apps because all of the preloaded Amazon apps are not able to be deleted. Tech supports said they can’t help after 1 year is up so I just need to buy a new tv! Won’t be this brand!

The TV speakers didn't work when you watched Hulu or Netflix. The TV worked when I watched cable. I had to take this back and swap for a different TV.

    Defective- Loud Humming Noise

First day of use, completely brand new and straight out of the box and it makes a loud humming noise. Apparently, it’s connected to the level of brightness that the screen is set to. To make the noise “go away” you have to turn the brightness down from 100 to about 18/20 but of course that affects the picture. Not happy at all for my first Insignia product. I’m definitely returning it and am considering going with a different brand.
