Went with a Fire TV because, at the time, this was one of the only ways to get HBOMax as ROKU still had not come to an agreement with HBO. I had no idea he could speak through the remote, so that was a plus we didn't know we were getting.

Bad interface

When TV comes on, it won't automatically go to last input. So every time you start the TV, you have to go select source. Not a good fit for the older family members. To many steps to just watch TV.
