I bought a Samsung and returned it because the picture was not as good as Insignia and the sound was better too! I bought the 5 yar protection plan because is was so affordable. It is a win win all around!!!

In the past I bought this brand but it was cut short because 3 Insignia TVs were stolen from me, but as I was saying before I enjoy. The TVs shows a pretty picture and the quality is good what more can you ask for and a good Price.

Ghost in the machine

But it gets dark when watching some movies and TV shows. It does have a couple of quirks. It turns itself off when I am watching it, and has just started turning itself on. I don't like the fact that the "off" button doesn't actually turn the unit off. It only sleeps. I will play with the settings to see if I can fix the issue, but in the meantime I guess I'll just have to unplug it at night.

As a bonafide "old people" with vision problems, this is very useful in helping offset myvision issues. The remote is a minimalist piece of plastic. One feature I do not like on the Insignia Fire TV's is you cannot preset the source when the set first turns on any more. Turn it on, and then go through multi-steps to select the input for the computer. I have commented about this on a 58" Insignia I bought. Again, I rate the TV as a 5, the remote as a minus 1, total rating 4.

I needed a TV that still provided component connections as well as HDMI for connecting classic vg consoles. I liked the Fire TV OS, which is really easy to use and we have on other TVs. I had a Roku in that room before, which it blows away in every aspect especially in overall quality, but the size need was key due to the furniture in the room, and that Insignia F30 Series LED 4K provided everything I needed and more.

I love that it was so easy to set up and connect our account to it. Kids knows how to navigate to get to their account which is awesome because I’m able to restrict what they can watch or not watch.
