Television Fine- Fire TV Not so Fine

The Rokus are superior to Fire TV in every way. Why Amazon didn't just copy Roku and then make improvements, I have no idea. But it looks like they started from zero and, imo, have made just about everything worse. Fire TV takes like 3-4 minutes to 'load', Roku is ready to go immediately. Fire TV takes ten time as long to install a new channel as Roku does. Fire TVs layout makes it hard to find things-Roku's layout is intuitive and simple to navigate. The only advantage this Fire TV had over a comparable Roku TV is price - and unfortunately, price has to be my primary consideration at the moment. Other than all the Fire TV issues, the TV's performance has been fine up till now (2 months or so). I would recommend it if you're constrained by finances like me. Otherwise, get a RokuTV.

The old faithful i had in there was no at all being the job done but we have a bigger version in our living room of this one and was the perfect buy. I think it helped me get better keeping my spirits up. Plus best part had Bluetooth option so when I want to stay up hubby can sleep peacefully.

Sound quality is good too. I bought a sound bar to go with, but returned it because it really wasn't needed.

It’s excellent and has plenty of apps available. Great little TV for the bedroom or for kids. Can’t beat the price, except it’s now on sale for $30 less than I paid for it!
