I didn't purchase this 4k TV to watch movies. The price was so low and the quality is fantastic. In today's digit age. We're bombarded with digital photos. I hardly ever looked at twice. So I purchased this TV, with a plan to use it project thousands of photos randomly. Let me tell you, this TV is fantastic for this. I love it! The price. Size *auto upscaling and quality is unmatched! So save yourself lots of money and avoid those limited "digital photo frames"...

It works great as a bar tv in the basement or spare bedroom screen. The fire OS is much slower than I expected (I’m wired with 2 GB internet) and slower than my 4 year old Roku tv next to it, but for the price I would recommend. Picture quality and sound is on par with price point…solid value but not as a main screen.

Its very light weight for its size, which was great for installing a wall mount. So much better than the older TV's for ease of use and moving.

The apps you get to select what you want on it. And also she loves the app that she can use also like a control. Great product would definitely recommend for anybody looking for a great TV.

The change in qualty throughout the years have exceeded tremendously. I have a 2020 version in a 55 and this 42 has much better picture quality

My only gripe is the audio; it’s a bit thin, so you might want a soundbar. Overall, though, it’s a total steal for the price

I wasn't sure about the Smart Fire series, but this has some nice features my other Smart TV's do not such as a more comprehensive screen for all the streaming app's and the voice command to navigate all of it.

Great for Bedroom - Without Needing a Soundbar

Perfect for a bedroom. For my living room I have a bigger TV and a good soundbar, but it's nice not needing a soundbar for this one.

I got busy and unpacked it after I got it. I got this replacement for one I bought that died a year and a half after using it, I hope this one lives longer than the original one
