    This tv lasted less than a year. Screen went black in June of 2021. I sent it to a repair shop where they changed the LED lights and they blew again when turning the tv on. The price to repair the tv was more than just buying a new one. Parts for this brand are also very hard to find in stock.

    Screen went dim and blinking. Saved 77 dollars compared to Samsung. Samsung has a three year warranty. Insignia? One year! Look online and you will see these are junk!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THEY AREN'T RECALLED!!! I will stick to Sams Club from now on. Too bad, I spent thousands a year at Best Buy...But they weren't the best buy.,..

    Beware buying open box items. This tv seemed like a great deal clean and came with a remote at lease, however I finally purchased internet access and discovered the wii fi didn’t work. Every time I entered the password the system crash. So the Fire TV function is worthless. I wouldn’t risk open box for items like this again.

    I purchased 2 of these TVs for my children and one only lasted until 1 month after the warranty expired. Only one year and it went black. Best Buy said that you should’ve bought an extended warranty. Had to throw it away. Horrible tv and horrible customer service. DO NOT BUY THIS TV. Buy a Samsung or Sony.

    I loved this TV when I bought it, but after 8 months the picture went out. Best Buy replaced it with a new one that only lasted 3 months. I then got a refund and bought a Samsung, I don't think I'll ever buy an Insignia product again.

    Could not review properly due to the fact was not able to view. I have bought three other Insignia tv's and have been very happy with them. Hoping Best Buy will replace as this was a gift for my daughter. Assuming this was a shipping mishap

    I purchased this TV 2 years ago and now that it is not working I was advised by the manufacturer that I would only be able to have it repaired for more than the TV is worth. This mode is discontinued.

    Great TV option – let down due to interface

    4k on a 43 inch set is kind of pushing it as to really gaining anything over 1080P. If you are on a budget and overlook the interface (or maybe are more familiar with amazon and its fire stick) this is a nice TV. I really like the TV and would give it 5 stars. BUT due its to minimalistic remote coupled with, in my opinion, a terrible FireTV/Roku interface and it also more or less requires you to have or create an amazon account (which is ridiculous) as well as store your settings/info on amazon - I give it low 4 stars. Easily removed from the box and once legs are attached you are ready to go. Weighs about 20 lbs. Has 3 HDMI inputs, 1 USB 2.0, digital audio out, antenna in, component/composite in, audio out and LAN connection. Power connection is on back right side. Positives; Easy to setup as TV presents step by step onscreen instructions to setup wifi and date/time. Supports 5Ghz wifi as well as hard wired LAN. I connected wirelessly at 5Ghz (could not tell if N or AC) about 50 feet away and thru 1 wall from Orbi AC3000 satellite. Picture quality is very subjective but I found the standard setup right out of the box good for me. But you can fine tune if you like. Watching 1080I HD Cox cable channels including movies or sports looked fine even at 60hz. The picture was GREAT when I streamed 4K content using its built in Netflix and Amazon Prime apps. They loaded very quickly with no buffering. Comes with a lot of apps installed and has an option to add more. I am only interested in Netflix and Amazon at this time and they have dedicated tabs on the remote making it easy to navigate. The amount of apps available would make it easy to gain access to a large amount of different channels if trying to cut the cable cord. Sound for 2 down firing speakers is not great sounding but is very loud at lower volume settings. Screen looked good from all the angles we watch TV from, even in a very bright room. Negatives Minimalistic remotes are all the rage right now and some perform better than others. This remote is passable but does have designated Netflix, amazon prime video, HBO and vue – which helps. I could go on and on about the FireTV interface – but suffice it to say it is confusing at best. When you turn on the TV it takes you to a home screen where you have to – always – select your input? I can see this if using a streaming app/interface but if I was watching HDMI1 – why not start on it? It does have voice control but I found it worthless most of the time as it did not understand my question(s) even after several attempts at rephrasing them. It has a LOT of built in apps so much so that it is very confusing to go thru therm. I could not find an easy way to sort them so they are presented haphazardly. You can reorder/delete them – but you have to do each one manually. Big issue for me is only 1 USB and while it states it supports video it didn’t recognize m2ts files that all my Samsung TV’s and sony blu-rays players recognize. Very dis-appointing it doesn’t do video requiring an additional purchase of DVD player with that functionality. You can do a lot with this TV but will require patience and a learning curve if not familiar with amazon/roku…

    After 14 months the screen went black. No I did not buy the extended warranty, I expected to get more life from this TV. I will never purchase a Insignia product again.

    Did not like its operation. It requires you to change channels by using the guide or voice operation. You can not just type the channel number you would like to watch.
